PRIDE IN OUR YOUNG CANADIAN SHOOTERS!!
The Bullet Barn had the pleasure and privilege last year, to assist a young woman of 16 named Tricia Livingston, to travel to Bisley, England for The Imperial Meeting 2005, which is one of the most prestigious competitions in the world.
Tricia is an Army Cadet Sergeant with the "950 Rocky Mountain Rangers", Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps located in Merritt, BC, and is involved in the advanced stages of the Cadet Markmanship Program. After placing 1st out of 36 shooters on the Cadet Leader Instructor Marksmanship course, she was selected to join the Cadet National Rifle Team and compete in Bisley against marksmen from all over the world.
She was thoughtful enough to provide a few photos of herself and a team mate taken at the shoot. They were shooting the C12 A1 rifle, 7.62 mm. There is also a copy of a letter sent via e-mail to us from Tricia, explaining the events and some of the results of the competitions. Congratulations to all members of The Canadian National Rifle Team of 2005!!
