Wrote: Soggy weather is here. Time to re-load for next season. First off, I need another box of your GREAT 9 mm RN 125 gr. (.357).
I've just been told that I've won the Law Enforcement Shooting Association - Club Grand Aggregate (Duty Pistol), using YOUR bullet! I know there are less expensive bullets around and I've been given a few samples to re-load - but why mess with a good thing? Your bullets are perfect. Firm and "ballistically" correct. That's all I use in my S & W 5946 and my S & W "PPC9" Distinguished Semi-Auto.
I'm looking for a load for my Distinguished Revolver. I've always used BDX hollow base semi-wadcutter. How does your .38 cal RNFP BB measure up to the BDX? And the .38 cal SWC BB? If you could send a few samples (18 of each) along with my 9mm order, I would appreciate it.
I wish you had a good baseball cap with "Bullet Barn" embroidered on the front - I'd wear it for all my matches. Thanks again for a great product - and for the Grand Ag. Trophy!

I also was grateful to receive your recommendation on Cannon's for the .75 cal round ball. They do indeed make such a product, so I'm all set. Have a great day!

Apparently, she had to struggle up our sidewalk (2 trips) - everything arrived OK. I guess I will have to increase the number of Tim Horton's coupons my wife gives her at Christmas. Thanks again.

I have given the 200 gr wadcutters a good work out with different loads, and the only difficulty is discerning which load is best. They are all good!!! These bullets are of fine quality, well cast, and obviously at the correct temperature. I should add that the hardness is such that even at max loads, there is little if any leading. Thanks for the fine product. YVT

Now that I will have the lead I can hardly wait. Thanks again.

Wrote: You probably don't remember but my name is Jim Matheson and last week I phoned you to inquire about your 45-70 cast bullets for my Marlin 1895G.
Anyhow, I just got back from a business trip combined with a visit with my daughter in Edmonton. Before leaving Edmonton, I decided to check P & D gun shop...Glad I did because I was lucky enough to find some boxes of your bullets. I picked up the 45-70 450 grain.
They are fine looking bullets - you do a wonderful job!! Next time in Edmonton I'll check in again for some more supplies.
I asked the people at the shop if they had any handload info for the bullets (I checked some of their reloading manuals as well) but they weren't up to speed on 45-70 loads. I ordered the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook but I suspect that it won't give me exactly what I need. Does your husband (the hunter) have any favorite loads for your 45-70 bullets? If so, would he be willing to share the handload info? I'm interested in everything from practice loads to big bear loads.
I plan to build using all your bullets from 350 grain and up including your new gas check 405 grain. It really is wonderful to finally be able to buy CANADIAN. My best friend lives just a few miles north of Powell River. I don't get to visit him often, but next time I do I'll be sure to give you a phone call to see if you are in and I'll replenish my supply.
Keep up the great work and thank you very much!

Sized diameter is consistently right on, and a maximum weight variance of only 1 grain within nominal weight; good pricing also. I will only purchase Bullet Barn casts henceforth.

Wrote: Lois. This is Russ from Calgary. I received your 38-55 bullets, and proceeded to load them. Just finished checking a few out on the weekend. After 15 years shooting that Model 94, there is no doubt that your bullets are the most accurate to ever come out of the barrel. Groups were very impressive, and fouling was not an issue. I could not be more pleased with your product and the results they produced.
Is it possible for you to start making me (and a lot of other folks) .348 Win. in 150 and 180grain? Any info you could provide would be great.
A Satisfied Customer, Russ

I loaded them for my wife to shoot in Cowboy Lever Rifle Silhouette matches at Rocky Mountain House. We were very pleased with the results and have since recommended your bullets to several people. I look forward to the arrival of the .45-70's. I will be using them in a Marlin 1895 Cowboy with 26" barrel to shoot in Cowboy Action Long Range Side Matches and Cowboy Lever Rifle Silhouette matches. I plan on loading them with 65 grains of Elephant FFG black powder as I have had good results in the past with this load. Will let you know how it works out with your bullets. Regards, Nelson

The 5744 patterns higher with the slg and even higher with the tlg 405's. Using the 5744 Im getting a little flaking but not much and the leading is pretty well gone. WOO HOO!! So it was the powder of all things. With the patterning being higher it would seem that the bullets are traveling quicker. Even better. And cleaning only takes 1/2 hr now rather than several!

Wrote: Hi There: Thanks for such a speedy delivery on my order! Only took 4 days. I tried out some of the .458 405 gr. hardcast bullets (didn't load any 350's yet). Very accurate at low velocities in my Marlin 1895G 45-70. Didn't notice any leading in the barrel. Have only tried "Trapdoor" loads so far, averaging just under 1200 fps with my chrony. Would you have any cast bullet data available for the 350 gr & 405 gr. in 45-70? I'm wondering about faster loads and that these are BB rather than GC bullets. Can they be loaded to about 1800-1900fps? Looking to try hardcast bullets on Black Bears. Another question I have is; will you be casting any heavier bullets for .458 bores? Just curious due to the interest in the Cowboy shooting sports. Thanks for your time, a satisfied customer.
